The Graduiertenkolleg ‘Combinatorial Structures in Geometry‘ at the University of Osnabrück is a project funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG). It enables research and scientific education within and between algebra/discrete mathematics, applied analysis, stochastics and topology/geometry and combinatorial optimisation. In order to celebrate the six years of its existence and the completion of the second round of PhD-thesis supervisioned in this project we organize an international conference on Combinatorial Structures in Geometry.
The workshop will take place from September 2 – 5, 2019 at the University of Osnabrück, Institute of Mathematics, Albrechtstraße 28a, Buildung 69, room 125.
- Alexandru Constantinescu (FU Berlin, Germany): Bounding the Castelnuovo-Mumford regularity
- Aicke Hinrichs (Johannes Kepler Universität Linz, Austria): How good is random information?
- Michael Joachim (University of Münster, Germany): Twisted spin cobordism and D-brane homology
- Tobias Müller (University of Groningen, The Netherlands): Percolation and random graphs in the hyperbolic plane
A limited number of rooms has been set aside at the Intour Hotel until August 15. Mention the keyword GRAKO when making a reservation.
